Bio

Eric Puente is an artist and educator currently based in central TX.

 

He plays in the Lynch/ Puente Duo and teaches instrumental music with Hays CISD. 

 

His interest in new music has allowed him opportunities to premiere music as a fellow of the Cortona Sessions for New Music and as a participant of the So Summer Institute. He also attended the Chosen Vale Percussion Seminar.

 

Eric studied with Sam Solomon and Nancy Zeltsman at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Genero Gonzalez and Dr. Mary Ellen Cavitt at Texas State University.
